Highlights from October: She insisted she did follow the directions on this English assignment. I suspect she was just distracted. We have been playing a game called "You've Been Sentenced", and this is one of her creations. Singing at a fundraiser for her midwife. And an scene she made for a play she made.



October's Field Trip- A Day at the Races with Hot Rods for Heroes

Highlights from September: making her school spirit tee; the back of the completed tee; her first year as a Marathon Kid; "Cupid Shuffle" warm-up before doing her first quarter mile of the Marathon (yes, she is wearing a sparkly hat).

Highlights from August: mental math while in charge of a shift at a fundraising booth; manipulatives and a math worksheet- comfortable cushions help; water experiment, using math and collecting data to determine water conservation- her cat was very involved; taking a carpet ride around the Roman Empire with her stepdad; performing "Fireflies" at the community pool party; and trying to handfish while on a nature hike.
